Specific version of the Paddle Switch Detector DRO designed for hoppers with heat insulation.

Horizontal mounting with sleeve (1’’ ¼) or flange and composed of an extension pipe which makes this solution passes through the heat insulation and also works as a static cooling system so as to accept the high temperature level inside the hopper (up to 500°C).

The paddle is driven in rotation by a gear-motor. When the level is reached, a resistive torque is detected which activates a dry contact. Power supply of the motor is cut off in order to protect it. When the level drops, the resistive torque is equal to zero and the paddle resumes its rotation.

Positive security is possible by using the optional module BTR 111.
