This press is used to compact a powdery sample, so as to obtain a pellet with smooth and homogeneous surface to be analysed by any X-ray spectrometer

It is equipped with a hydraulic jack and a user friendly HMI with which up to 8 recipes can be defined For each recipe, the pressure and duration of the pressing operation can be customized

Its configuration can be set either for free pressing (boric acid coating or in aluminium cups with outer Ø 40 mm) or for pressing in steel rings (outer Ø 40 or 51,5 mm

The steel ring or aluminium cup (if applicable) as well as the sample to be processed are manually introduced into the press The cover and pressure plate are put back into position and, once the desired recipe has been selected, the pressing operation is started After completion, the pellet is retrieved from the press by the operator

Press available in several versions: 20, 40 and 60 Tons.
