This mill is used to reduce into fine powder any breakable material in a few seconds, so as to be further processed with pellet press before a spectrometric analysis
The setting and use of the 8 available recipes are done with the help of a user-friendly HMI For each recipe, the operator can customize the processing parameters: rotation speed and duration of the milling operation so as to obtain the best results.
The sample is manually introduced into the grinding vessel After placing the cover, the grinding chamber is held tightly using a pneumatic actuator and the door of the mill is closed using a powerful magnetic safety lock The grinding chamber is then subjected to rotation and the grinding elements allow the pulverization of the sample After completion, the finely ground sample is retrieved manually from the vessel
The whole assembly is enclosed in a sound proof casing to reduce noise level
The grinding vessels can be supplied either in Chromium steelor in Tungsten carbide and in different sizes : 10, 50, 00 ou 250 cc.
A gripper, which assists in handling the grinding bowl, is available as an option. It is composed of a lifting and holding system and a table on which the handling operations (loading, discharge and cleaning) are performed
